We were tasked with creating packaging for the hand washes and creams which evoked the eccentric English qualities of the product whilst giving the product cut through in a crowded market place.
We developed a brand strategy forming the basis for the creative direction. The branding needed to impart an idiosyncratic personality and the innovative nature of the products, whilst appealing to its niche audience. It was important not to overpower the products, which would ultimately have personalities of their own.
Having created the brand and corporate collateral we turned our attention to the packaging. To realise the quintessential Englishness of the brand, we worked closely with an international illustrator to bring to life the benefits and key ingredients unique to each product. The final identity and packaging has an intentionally nostalgic feel, juxtaposed with a modern, graphic execution.
